The owner of a 2025 Land Rover Defender 110 required a comprehensive towing solution, including electronic braking control, battery management, and secure power connections for a heavy-duty trailer. The Redarc Pro Elite brake controller was installed to provide proportional trailer braking, improving control and safety under varying load conditions. A Narva 12V 140A voltage-sensitive relay was integrated to manage dual-battery isolation, ensuring efficient power distribution while towing. A 12V stud-type auto reset circuit breaker was also installed to protect the electrical system from overloads.
A custom-fabricated bracket was also designed and mounted to secure the Anderson plugs within the rear towing assembly. This modification provided a sturdy and accessible connection point, preventing plug movement and reducing wear from vibrations.
