The Toureg R is equipped with a factory 15-inch main screen, and the client wanted to make the most of it by integrating his caravan’s dual Safety Dave rearview cameras into this factory screen.
As Advanced Ice system resellers, we knew exactly where to go for this integration module. The integration system allows both caravan cameras to be viewed on the car’s central display at any time with a button push. This seamless integration is the perfect way to keep dash clutter to a minimum and make the most of your car’s central display screen.
A simple long press of the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel controls and the screen will switch to the camera so you can see behind you like a rearview mirror.
It works while driving forward, and it won’t impact any other functionality on your vehicle. If you want to see the additional camera in reverse, another long press of the OK button on the steering wheel will allow you to switch between the factory camera system and the other cameras on the screen.
