Ineos Grenadier Towing Set Up Installation

We had a client’s Ineos Grenadier in for a towing set up installation this week; we are beginning to see more of these incredible cars come through our doors as Australian vehicles slowly get delivered. This time, the client required three Anderson plugs, Redarc Towpro, a solar controller and a 12-pin plug for the caravan. Custom-made rear bracket mounts to the same holes as the 13-pin euro plug and allows all our additions to fit the vehicle’s rear seamlessly.

The Victron solar controller runs from the blue Anderson for solar charging the AUX battery. We added a Victron Shunt to monitor the AUX battery current and state of charge. The shunt fits perfectly onto the threaded bolts under the seat. It’s like they were put there precisely for this. More custom brackets were fabricated in-house to mount the solar controller under the rear seats.

There is a lot of cabling involved in this project. Fortunately, Ineos allows for a lot of cabling behind the panels, with plenty of grommets.

Our client can now tow their caravan with all accessories and safety features working as they should.
