A UHF radio installation Ford Ranger Wildtrack was required in addition to a 5th wheel towing setup project.
As weight was an issue in the Ford Ranger, no bull bar was installed on the vehicle, so we opted for a bonnet-mounted antenna. The bracket we used created a clean install for the UHF antenna, and the handheld piece is connected via a port in the centre console.
The handheld piece can be disconnected and stowed when not in use.
