project details:

A client approached us from a well-known horse training academy looking to better their safety for themselves and their horses when transporting them in a float. The client needed to have a vision of the inside of the float when towing to monitor the horses in transit. They also requested rear vision cameras for the car’s rear to help attach trailers and a camera on the back of the horse float. We tailor-built the camera system to give the client several options for cameras and screens to provide them with vision perfect for both traffic and the horses when towing.

Using the Safety Dave 7″ quad monitor, we could access the video feed of up to 4 cameras at any time. We used a license plate camera for the client’s F250 to give them a vision of the tow hitch when reversing and attaching trailers.

Two square black cameras were used for the trailer:
One camera was mounted inside the float to monitor the horses
The second camera was mounted above the rear door to monitor traffic behind the trailer.

The total rear vision camera system gives our clients all the different perspectives they need to confidently and safely transport their horses worry-free.
