Challenge
When traveling in remote areas, you often need to adjust tyre pressures for different surfaces like sand, gravel, or rocks. Without a dependable way to reinflate tyres or use air tools, your vehicle is at risk of tyre damage or getting stuck.
Staying in touch can be difficult in places with no mobile reception, which is a real safety concern for off-road travel. Standard mobile phones often leave you cut off when driving through valleys or remote tracks.
Solution
A high-output onboard air system lets you adjust tyre pressures whenever you need to. You can quickly inflate tyres after driving on sand or rocks, which helps protect them and can improve fuel economy when you get back on the road.
A dedicated signal booster helps your mobile devices work even in areas with weak reception. This means you can stay connected with emergency services or family instead of being completely out of touch.
It’s important to have experienced technicians handle the installation. Electrical accessories and antennas need careful routing to meet safety standards. Professional fitting protects your vehicle’s wiring and makes sure everything works as it should, keeping your warranty intact.
Execution
The Adventure Additions team started by finding the best spot for the single-motor onboard compressor. They used a special bracket to mount it under the rear seat, keeping it safe from the weather but easy to reach. The wiring was run through the cabin floor along the factory paths to avoid interfering with the seats. They also installed a dedicated air hose coupling and braided line for a strong, reliable connection when inflating tyres.
For the signal booster, the team attached a heavy-duty fold-down bracket to the roof rack.
This setup lets you lower the antenna when going into garages or driving through thick brush.
Next, the technicians installed the booster’s internal wiring to keep the signal strong inside the cabin. They tested all the connections for power use and signal strength to make sure everything worked at its best.
Duration
The full installation of the Celfi-Fi and ARB air compressor took about 6.5 hours at the Adventure Additions Braeside Facility.
Results
The Ineos Grenadier now has a hidden air supply and an adjustable high-gain antenna. The compressor sits under the rear seat, saving cargo space and making it easy to access. The signal booster helps your mobile devices work farther from cell towers, adding safety for remote trips. Both systems are wired into the vehicle with professional-grade parts and installation.
