Adventure Additions recently completed a comprehensive dual battery installation in a Chevy Silverado 1500, designed to enhance off-road power reliability. The installation utilised high-quality Victron components, including the Cerbo GX and GX Touch 50 combo for system monitoring, the Orion XS 50a DCDC charger for efficient battery management, a 20a MPPT solar controller for solar integration, and a SmartShunt for precise battery monitoring. All electrical components were strategically installed under the rear seats, ensuring a clean and seamless look, with the GX Touch monitor conveniently mounted in the rear of the truck for easy access.
